Painting on metal Empty
PostSubject: Painting on metal   Painting on metal Icon_minitimeMon Jun 21, 2010 6:52 pm

Hey guys, so I'll soon be ordering the HFC DarkHawk. I can only find it in stock with a silver/grayish slide, so it'll have to do. If I ever wanted to, how would I go about painting the slide & barrel black? aka what type of paint should I use & what method...?

Duracoat black paint works amazingly. Looks better than perfect if you do it correctly.

sweet you got the darkhawk. the full black one actually needs to be painted over too because HFC put these really ugly huge white trademarks on the upper receiver.

as for paint recommendations.... i think i can't top snosnipe. he made a very good suggestion. so you should go with that.
