| The only thing about getting an AEG VS a Sniper Rifle is the sound. If your friend is the time that likes to shoot somebody and scare the snot out of everybody around him because they don't know where he is, then you need to get a sniper rifle and just upgrade it so that its super quiet. Now if he's not the sneaky type then go with an AEG. | |

| Except the fact you might get taken out and you don't know where its coming from. Thats not really what you're going for when you're trying not to get shot. | |

| echo 1 m14s have a good starting fps. right on the line of 400fps, which is about as good as it gets for a stock AEG | |

Check out the G&G series of DMR's...
Another option is the WR-ST "RCKT"... Proved itself in the famed "Battle of Malm Art". Favorite weapon of the "Ne-Wbies" tribe.
Lawl at epicness
And I do have my facts straight...most major fields will not allow AEG's over 450fps and bolt over 600. Im sure your fields also have the rules but don't chrono or they make a exception for semi auto like the TM PSG-1
And like they said M14's are good all around..kinda boring tho..other good ones to consider are CA-s G36's and if you want to go a bit over budget the TM PSG-1 is nice..it starts at 530 tho and it needs upgrades... another reason to get a sniper rifle (if you're gonna be playing on fields with fps limits). they are alowed a higher fps than aegs, giving you an advantage. also, in nn2h's last post, he said you can the the echo 1 m14 with a stock fps of 400. why do that when you can get a stock sniper rifle for 460 and probly alot less money. then you can upgrade it. *sigh* I'm done venting now. | |
