PostSubject: DM..Scope or V sight   DM..Scope or V sight Icon_minitimeFri Sep 19, 2008 9:18 pm

Ok here is the issue I will be playing as the DMR on our team as some of you already know..Now I was wondering would a scope really be necessary?..or for that matter the best idea. The reason I say this is that there is a chance I might be in semi close quarters and I believe a scope would cause problems since I wouldn't be able to track..and I don't think blind firing is the answer. So I was thinking I might go with a v sight..( like so.. V I ) Theres three reasons I figured this would be good 1) In airsoft my target will never be far enough away for me to need a scope 2) It will allow me to easier track 3) I will still be able to shoot in low light conditions. If I am incorrect please tell me. ( I am using the CA SL8 upgraded to 400fps) Thanks a bunch.

it comes with a scope but its rather difficult to see when you have safety gear on.

There's alot of people who can use red dots effectively at ranges, the only problem I had with y really crappy one was it was hard to get correct target identification and even harder to see if the BB actually hit the target.

If you don't mind spending some money they make magnifiers for red dot's.

That particular one has a flip to side base. The only problem is some of the magnifiers don't line up with the red dots. Your best bet would be to match the EoTech magnifiers to the EoTech holo sights, and do the same with the Aimpoint red dots and magnifiers.

I'm going to order one of these for my spotter when I get the money: http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?cPath=32&products_id=1667
the little thing on the top is a working red dot, and with the combo of the 4X acog its pretty much the cheapest red dot/magnified scope combo out there.

This would be the other option for you: http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?cPath=32&products_id=1340
Its not quite as good in CQC as a red dot would be, but I guarantee you will get pretty good at instinctive shooting if you plan on playing alot of dynamic CQC to woodland style games.

EbayBanned is the cheapest place for optics(except for the china stores such as RSOV, but you need to pay some heavy shipping charges to shop from them). All there stuff is great for the price. You wont be let down and its free shipping!
