| Yeah, i believe the CA is probably one of the best if not, if your on a tight budget theres the E1 but i don't hear great things about theirs. | |

| And the E1s are only short SCARs. | |

| Ooooh you're getting a SCAR? That's gonna be my next rifle I personally am getting the AGM only because it's cheaper and I don't need a super duper ownage rifle. (Even though that one apparently IS super duper ownage) But the G&G seems really nice. And whatever you do PLEASE get tan! It's just how SCARs are meant to be! Haha | |

| Well, I'm not getting a SCAR for sure. I just want to know what my options are as far as SCAR-Ls go. I've always thought they were nice looking. And it does seem the SCARs were made to be tan. | |

| Oh, I see. You could check this out hahaha Isn't she a beauty? But anyway in all seriousness, the G&G or CA seems to be the best in your price range. | |

| Oh yeah, man, I'd be winning all sorts of games with that! I had looked at the VFC SCAR-H SSR a little bit. I might be able to afford that one if I really saved up my money and sold some gear and stuff. | |

| The VFC is one of the best out there from what i've been told. Add in VFC's reputation of realism it'd be my choice of all the SCAR's except the WE GBB SCAR. | |

| ! That thing is a beast! That would probably be good if you wanted to play a DM role. But I wouldn't want to have to play a rifleman/infantry role with such a long rifle. Otherwise you should get one of the two I listed up there^ | |

| Yeah, the bad thing about the SCAR-H SSR is that it doesn't come with irons and it's a really long rifle for CQB. This one wouldn't be too bad for CQB. | |

| Exactly. Perhaps this one? It doesn't shoot too hot but hey, it's CQB. | |

| I don't like the short barrel. I like the look of the SCAR-L barrels. | |

| Well hey, check out the AGM. You might not trust the brand but it has an included outer barrel extension. Well now, come to think of it, the thing shoots pretty darn hard for CQB regulations... | |

| It does look pretty nice, but I still don't trust the brand. I've heard bad things about them.
And fps is not a factor. I can always get my spring cut down.

| Hmm..
What is supposedly wrong with AGM? I haven't heard any actual material, just "oh no I don't trust them." And it leaves me wondering every time.

| Well describe short jarhead cause a SCAR L is a SCAR L be it E1s CA G&G thier SCAR Ls are all same length. The SCAR H shoots the 7.62 (standard or intermidiate i think standard) and i belive is a bit longer and then ya the SSR which is uber long CQB SNIPER RIFLE FTW. Or what here im just confused about the lon short factor here.
And i think jarhead you should save the money for a VFC and then decide on that pig or the SCAR H.

| Okay, Satan. Here is what I am saying. Okay, see the top rifle? I prefer the longer barrel, like that one. It looks better to me. I do not like the short barrel, like on the bottom. I was confused. I thought SCAR-H meant it had the shorter barrel, like on the bottom, and I though the SCAR-L had a longer barrel, like on top. Sorry, I didn't have my info right. | |

| FN SCAR-L = SCAR Light, 30rd 5.56x45mm intermediate NATO FN SCAR-H = SCAR Heavy, 20rd 7.62x51mm standard NATO
Airsoft-wise, the only difference is the length and that the H mags are going to be harder to find. All SCAR-L's are the same length, as Satan said. Also some manufacturers include a removable outer barrel extension..

| PSH Even i knew scar L meant for light and shoots 30 5.56mm while a scar H meant for heavy and shoots 20 7.62mm
ANYWAYS I really have no good advice to add, except if your thinking about buying the echo 1 scar l
Then well, my response: NO NO NO NO NONONONONONOONONOONNO!!!!!
Let me explain, a friend of mine has this gun, and it doesn't come with the barrel extension for one thing.l THe main reason I avoid this gun, is because with the hop up turned ALL THE WAY DOWN, (and this is on a hot summer windless day), the bbs curve up right out of the barrel. Honestly, turn the hop up on all the way, and the shooter would be rained with bb's, not even joking...
Hop up turned all the way off, and it curves up SO HIGH its not even funny... I suppose you can get a new hop up unit, but you might as well buy a SCAR with a nice hop up already right?

Also some manufacturers include a removable outer barrel extension.. Okay, thanks, DrummerBoyz95. One correction for you: 5.56x45mm is the standard NATO round. 7.62x51mm is usually only seen in light machine guns, sniper and DM rifles, and older rifles like the M14. You also say that the SCAR-H uses a different mag... I though all SCARs used the STANAG mags. @Mike All I can say to the Echo 1: OH HELLL NO!!!! I have decided I did not like the E1s.

| YEAH i know i hhte echo 1 too. I grabbed a longer tight bore for my stag-15, there was a manufactured dent on the inside of the outer barrel, so we grabbed a flat head screw driver, and did some home modding to fix that dent | |
