| Well the vectors arms could have been just normal MP5 selector switch issues, but it does have wiring issues, so i need to replace my mp5 wires.
As for my stag 15, came with too much wires, it was all unneccesary, and when I first took it apart, the wires were being pinched to gether, so I had to push all the wires through the delta ring, to get even more wires into the handguard, which makes it more harder to put in the battery....
sorry for being off topic

| @Jarhead999 Nope, since they shoot bigger rounds the magazines are bigger. Same thing for airsoft but still 6mm rounds. You would have to get these if you ever wanted extra mags. | |

| Hmmm.... It looks to me like a 20-round Vietnam-Style STANAG. But it obviously isn't... Odd. @Mike You aren't being off topic. I just wanted you to cement the idea of not buying an E1 in my mind. I'm manipulative like that. 'Cuz I'm the Don, hahaha. | |

Not gonna lie... The Masada is my baby. But, I just can't afford it, and it would be a "Watch your language" to get parts for it. I was also thinking FAL, but it's like $500, so now way.

| The SCAR-L uses a 5.56x45mm round. The SCAR-H uses a 7.62x51mm round. The 7.62x51mm round is much larger then your standard AR 5.56x45mm round. For example: So considering the size of the 7.62 fitting 20 rounds into a STANAG style mag is all you can do while keeping the mag to a practical size. As for why the SCAR-H mag still looks like a 5.56 mag i have no idea. | |

| No, I understand the size differences between 7.62x51mm and 5.56x45mm, but I just didn't understand why the mags look like 20-round STANAGs. There are better mag designs for that kind of round. | |

| Ah i see. Yeah i have no clue why they look alike. All i can find out is that it's some new design of the STANAG mag. | |

| If you compared the magazines side by side you would see the SCAR-H magazines are wider than STANAG magazines. This, OF COURSE is to accommodate for the much bigger round. Of course the airsoft manufacturers wanted it realistic, so they made it to SCAR-H mag specs. And if you look on the web page of the H mag I showed you, you would read "This magazine is designed specifically for use with the VFC SCAR Heavy, it will not work in any other AEG." in the product description...obviously because it WON'T work with any other style AEG, because it is a unique design. My friends, trying to jam 7.62mm rounds into a magazine made for 5.56mm rounds is like fitting a square peg into a round hole. It just wont happen. | |

| I understand that, DrummerBoyz95. What I'm asking, and not necessarily from the forum community, is why did Fabrique Nationale De Herstale choose to design their mag off a 20-round STANAG mag? Why didn't they choose to make it like an M14 mag or an AKM mag? | |

| I'm not sure but it seems like they did. It's just that the AS versions are designed differently to fit the unusually large magazine well. | |

| It makes sense. This is a game/hobby/sport where it benefits to have as realistic a replica as possible. | |
