How to Wear Your Uniform the US Marine Way

A Cadet in my Squad put a tag on his boot, but he and I got reprimanded BIG TIME during inspection. I got reprimanded because I'm his Squad Leader and I should have caught him on it. My abs STILL hurt from elbows and toes for 20 minutes. That "Watch your language"'s tough. Also, no, the cover is not worn like that just for pictures. It is meant to be worn like that whenever you are out of overhead cover or when ordered to by a senior rank.

Excuse the double post, but just wanted to warn you guys on the tags. Last Wednesday, I got my ass reamed by my Platoon Commander because of my tags. He ordered me to show him my tags during inspection, and when the 5.56 came out of my shirt I got a reprimand from him and elbows and toes for the rest of the period from the Platoon Sergeant. They're only allowing me to have the two silenced tags and the two taped tags on my chain now.

btw, for lonesniper: The Marines put these little things called "Nametapes" on just about everything. It is mandatory that you have one above your right breast pocket and one above your right ass pocket, but Marines also put them on their body armor, duffles, and just about anything they can put a nametape on. As far as tags go, though, my cousin always kept one under each insole in his boot as a backup.

Im getting just a plain forest cammo jacket and pants and some good army style boots and im going to get a couple of patches and a helmet like my avatar
