| Haha i can answer that. He currently uses a smith and weston $20 pistol from dicks sporting goods. I'm still considering which gun to get him as far as spotter guns go. Any suggestions? | |

| no lol im a noob as well. second day in the forums, buying my gun online either tomorrow or the day after. im torn between the jg bar 10 and the mk 96... i like the high fps out of the box for the mk, but i like the easy (and free) mod capability of the jg... so ill prob make a rash decision and be happy with either choice lol.
i definitely agree with getting him a handgun first. If nothing else, it will teach him to pick his shots! welcome to the forums amg spotter!

| ya someone else told me that in a different section (sorry i can't remember who) This is only my third or fourth day in the forums, but the guys here are awesome apparently the jg bar 10 is a highly recomended gun. It was between that one and my AGM MP001. obviously i went with the agm, but i would seriously consider the bar 10. welcome to the forums | |

| yea, i first wanted to get the jg 10, but i have read up, and there are a few problems, that i wouldnt want to get fixed, so im leaning towards the mk96, but its upgrades are costly, and ive read a few reviews that says they are PoS's... i think im getting the mk tho.
anyways, thanks for the welcome, and im sure we'll talk in the near future

| welcome to the forums im new 2 the forum also. i would say 4 agm's spotters gun to get a m16 or 14 variant.the point of a spotter is to b able to protect your sniper but you can't do that with a mk96 or bar10 unless u r a team of snipers which can actually b pretty affective from wat ive seen | |

| Welcome I hope you enjoy this forum as much as all of us do. But I would consider a M14, G3,M16,pretty much any gun that suits you plus you can upgrade to make it shoot the distance you want. | |
