| my best tip is to mod your replica that way you want to! paint it however you choose. upgrade it however you like. we are all here to help you, but it all comes down to your preference also the sniper role is actually a pretty difficult role to play. Its not about making uber amounts of kills (i think you are one of the few people that may realize that) its an art, just like real sniping. a lot of patience a lot of waiting. in my opinion, with an l96, i would at least through in a tightbore barrel, and a stronger spring. (not too much stronger, just one level up or 2 levels up) also be sure to check that your sights/scope are adjusted correctly. it takes a lot of work to make any airsoft replica shoot accurately, and with airsoft sniper rifles it is much more vital to adjust. (im sure you know about this due to your previous real steel experience) another good thing is to know the range of your replica. you don't want to be taking shots at people you can't hit. revealing your position and not getting a "kill" at the same time. hope i helped | |

| i agree 100% with you. i know my limits on the gun now from factory or stock. i measured accurate shots with maxed out hop up and scope zeroed in. my MB05 get up just over 100 yards at a human size target. every 2 out of 10 shots. but at 75 yards its dead on. i got it chronoed at 480fps on avg. with .25g bbs. here is my gun. i bought an extra mag and 10,000 bbs to start. .20s .25s to start. | |

The International Law of Dibs requires you to be of a certain legal age and of good standing in this Airsoft Forum to call dibs on any item shown or advertised. I am all of those things so....I call Dibs!! | |

| No worries, Gibson, they're joking. They're saying if you die, they get your rifle, haha. But nah, WELL doesn't suck, at least for sniper rifles and GBBs. I have a Gas Blowback MP5K from them, actually. Well shoot, if it's tips y'all want, I will share! When shooting from a prone position, bring your firing-arm-side knee up so it makes a 90 degree angle. Your body should be at an angle from the rifle, as this will be more comfortable. The reason for bending your knee is to bring your stomach up off the ground a little. When you breathe, it will cause your muzzle to move slightly, making you inaccurate. Another tip for if you have a bipod, is to cross your arms when shooting. Put your non-firing hand kind of into your firing arm's armpit or slightly forward of the armpit. ^^^^Learned all those in MCJROTC Rifle Team. It works, trust me. The bulls for us where the size of the head of pin. Had to hit them from ten meters with air rifles with only iron sights. Helluva lot of fun! | |
